ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

A self-starter and roll-up sleeves professional, with 7 years of in-depth technical accounting experience to oversee our accounting department. The person will be responsible for doing general accounting practices, budgeting, developing internal accounting controls, preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements, tracking high-volume corporate client accounts; and building a strong financial team. 

• Maintains a current General Ledger register with all appropriate entries done promptly
• Performs Month End Closings and prepares Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Reports
• Overseeing Account Payable Activities
• Co-ordinate with AP team and Management for scheduling payment to vendor 
• Co-ordinate with AR Team for timely deposit of Customers check
• Co-ordinate with offshore GL team to ensuring month close entries
• Reconciliation (Bank, AP, Inter Company, AR, etc.)
• Fixed Assets Tagging
• MIS/Adhoc reporting to management based on the requirement
• Work in sync with Director, Finance to implement controls, checks and balances around all process 
• Maintains internal control of inventory and performs quarterly physical inventory counts
• Provides requisite information with all auditors and examiners for inventory-related queries
• Maintains receipts, disbursement reports, and reconciles cash verifying with bank statements
• Reconciles credit card payments with bank statements and updates general ledger entries
• Overseas AR cash deposits and verifies daily collection reports
• Prepares, Files, and Reconciles sales tax on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Oversees check runs and manual checks, making proper general ledger entries 
• Matches, posts, and files AP records after all payments and cash disbursements
• Reviews vendor statements and follow up to resolve any open issues.
• Processes 1099’s and W-9 forms for vendors and other affiliated parties
• Maintains a strong working relationship with banks and tax advisory firms providing timely information on financial matters
• Works as a single point of contact with audit firms making sure that correct and timely information is provided on Financial, 401K, and Inventory Audits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent Education and Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment is required
• Up-to-date knowledge of US GAAP with exposure to Overseas Subsidiaries is required
• Strong budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis skills required
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment is required

 California Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 / Salary and Benefit Perks
