Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in San Diego, CA is $ 112,882.00-$182,200.00 per year and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Ensure existing customers maximize the value they receive from the solution by developing and enhancing methodology that exploits the solution's capabilities. Work with QA and Docs to help them create tests and documentation that will improve our solutions. Create and release examples and tutorials that are shipped with our products. Develop and/or refine methodology employed in creating and using prototypes and maximizing the value of our prototyping solution. Interface with customer engineers and managers to develop or enhance complex computer-aided engineering design or manufacturing processes, uses complex design and tooling tasks involving multiple design environments. Cogently communicates software problems to product development. Assist other engineers in the design, development, and implementation of large scale, complex graphical application programs on multiple software products and hardware platforms. Provide business and technical feedback to software and hardware vendors. Use advanced data exchange methodologies to facilitate effective data sharing between dissimilar systems or applications that span across engineering disciplines. Guide and train Applications Engineers. Debug complex functional problems on digital circuits using VLSI CA tools. Remodel small integrated circuit blocks to fit in the FPGA prototyping flow. Analyze RTL netlist to evaluate whether VLSI CAD resulted in an optimal solution. Implement scripts for tight integration between VLSI CAD tools and user environments. Requires 30% domestic and international travel.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a Product Engineer-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

1. Software and hardware development;
2. FPGA design, FPGA tools, and STA;

3.FPGA based Prototyping hardware and software;

4.Design using System Verilog and Verilog;

5.Verification using System Verilog, Verilog, or C/C ;

1. Debug of RTL designs and simulation;
2. EDA tools for FPGA synthesis: Vivado or Quartus.
