A Snapshot of Your Day
As a member of the Gas Services Region North America Business Controlling Team, you will be responsible for fulfilling various forecasting, budgeting, and reporting requirements while coordinating, reviewing, analyzing, and consolidating feedback to your internal customers and stakeholders.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • You will gain valuable experience and knowledge in these areas while working with several cross-functional teams and multiple levels of management to improve existing processes and approaches.
  • Act as a member of business controlling team with oversight for the North America Gas Services product lines and assume responsibility for financial performance, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
  • Perform financial planning, forecasting, controlling, consolidate budgets, including top-down and bottom-up plans, proceed with revolving midterm planning and ensure compliance with Siemens Energy Financial Reporting Guidelines and local/international accounting and reporting standards
  • Prepare various financial reports and presentations for senior management; compile and review financial plans and budgets at complex levels
  • Provide expert analysis and evaluations on financial, accounting, cost, and trend reports to improve the results of the organization
  • Responsible for compiling large amounts of data and translating it into valuable analysis
  • Special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed

What You Bring
  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
  • 5 years of successful experience Accounting and/or Finance with the ability to handle multiple topics and manage time appropriately
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy; determined and resourceful to achieve goals and be proactive in problem solving; flexible and able to adapt in a fast-paced and multifaceted environment with tight deadlines
  • Able to successfully complete tasks as assigned in an efficient manner and within a reasonable amount of time; must take responsibility for and ownership of assigned tasks with demonstrated ability to learn tasks quickly.
  • Able and willing to work overtime at month end and during the month if/when needed
  • Proven ability to work closely with various contacts within the organization, Finance, Engineering, Field Service, etc.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel experience; familiarity with Alteryx/Tableau a plus
  • Travel if needed up to 5%

  • Effectuer la planification, les prévisions et le contrôle financiers, consolider les budgets, y compris les plans descendants et ascendants, élaborer des plans ajustables à moyen terme et assurer le respect des directives de rédaction de rapports financiers de Siemens Énergie et des normes locales/internationales en matière de comptabilité et de rapports.
  • Préparer divers rapports financiers et présentations à l’intention de la haute direction; compiler et examiner les plans financiers et les budgets de niveaux complexes.
  • Fournir des analyses et des évaluations approfondies sur les rapports financiers, comptables, de coûts et de tendances afin d’améliorer les résultats de l’organisation.
  • Être responsable de la compilation de grandes quantités de données et de leur interprétation à des fins de création d’analyses à valeur ajoutée.

Ce dont vous avez besoin
  • Baccalauréat ès sciences/arts en comptabilité ou en finances
  • Plus de cinq ans d’expérience fructueuse dans le domaine de la comptabilité et/ou des finances; capacité à gérer plusieurs questions et son temps de manière appropriée
  • Solides compétences analytiques, souci du détail et précision; autonomie et ingéniosité pour atteindre les objectifs, et attitude proactive pour résoudre des problèmes; flexibilité et capacité à s’adapter dans un environnement au rythme rapide et dynamique, avec des échéances serrées
  • Capacité à mener à bien les tâches attribuées, d’une manière efficace et dans un délai raisonnable; capacité à assumer la responsabilité des tâches attribuées et à se les approprier, et capacité éprouvée à apprendre rapidement
  • Capacité et disposition à faire des heures supplémentaires à la fin du mois et au cours du mois, au besoin
  • Capacité éprouvée à travailler en étroite collaboration avec différentes personnes-ressources au sein de l’organisation, du service des finances, de l’ingénierie, du service sur le terrain, etc.
  • Grande expérience relative à Microsoft Excel; connaissance d’Alteryx / de Tableau, un atout
  • Disposition à voyager, au besoin (jusqu’à 5 % du temps)
  • Capacité à parler, à écrire et à effectuer des présentations en anglais avec aisance
