Summary:

As a Concrete Finishing Crew Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating our finishing crew for concrete pouring projects. Your responsibilities include ensuring top-notch quality and safety, interpreting plans, providing guidance to crew members, and maintaining project schedules. You'll also operate carpentry tools and equipment and champion compliance with safety protocols. Additionally, you will lead by example, embody our company values, prioritize safety, conduct business with integrity, strive for excellence, remain motivated to succeed, and hold both yourself and your team accountable for their actions. Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate finishing crew, ensuring quality and safety in concrete pouring operations.
• Interpret plans and enforce safety regulations.
• Provide training, support, and mentorship to crew members.
• Maintain project schedule and uphold quality standards.
• Operate carpentry tools and equipment proficiently.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety rules and PPE requirements.

Requirements:

• Concrete finishing experience.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations.
• Carpentry and construction skills.
• Effective leadership and communication abilities.

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in reading, writing, addition, and subtraction.
• Accurate calculation of concrete quantities.
• Demonstrated work ethic with keen attention to detail.
• Swift and precise manual dexterity.
• Valid driver's license and eligibility to operate Siema vehicles.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Flexible availability to work both day and night shifts when required.

Physical Requirements:

• Manual lifting/carrying of loads weighing 50-100 lbs.
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and carrying tools/equipment.
• Ability to perform tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Capability to work in extreme weather conditions (hot/cold).

Education/Work Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of concrete finishing experience.
• At least 5 years in a Foreman or Supervisory role in heavy highway/road construction.
• Familiarity with HCSS (HeavyJob) Software is advantageous.
• Certifications in Traffic Control Technician, OSHA 10, Plan Reading, Advanced Concrete Principles, and Small Tools Care are a plus.
