Overview:
I am seeking a skilled and experienced Optician to join our team. As my Optician, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their eyewear needs and ensuring their satisfaction. If you have a passion for providing excellent customer service and have a strong background in the optical field, I would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses
- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit
- Educate customers on lens options, frames, and lens enhancements
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed
- Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and other optical supplies
- Process orders and coordinate with laboratories for lens production
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in opticianry preferred
- Proven experience working as an Optician in a retail or medical setting
- Strong knowledge of retail math and sales techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to optical care
- Proficiency in using optical laboratory equipment and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
