The Healthcare Compliance Manager will support Johnson & Johnson Vision and will primarily be responsible for implementation and support of programs designed to ensure the Company's business activities are conducted in compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and Johnson & Johnson's high standards of integrity. This position will play a key role interfacing with the business to maintain open lines of communication, prevent and detect non-compliance, and provide strategic guidance on initiatives that have health care compliance implications.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide compliance oversight and partner with business and functional stakeholders to reinforce compliance principles.
Act as a consultant, reviewer, and approver for business activities that involve HCC risks.
Support the assessment of potential compliance risk areas and the development of risk mitigation plans.
Partner with cross-functional team including the Law Department, Government Contract Compliance, and Privacy in support of the relevant business unit's activities.
Facilitate implementation of HCC policies and procedures.
Provide appropriate guidance and regular communications on HCC topics to all relevant employees.
Develop and conduct HCC training including practical application to commercial activities to enhance employee awareness and compliance with requirements.
Conduct testing and monitoring; implement corrective actions to close gaps identified during audits, assessments, testing and monitoring.
Facilitate response to reports of potential non-compliance and misconduct through escalation for investigation, coordination with subject matter experts, and execute applicable mitigation and training.
Conduct root cause analysis to determine source of compliance risks, identify gaps, and recommend and implement appropriate remediation.
Review and approve business transactions completed with health care professionals and entities, ensuring the activities reflect those permitted under HCC guidelines.
