Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation. Responsibilities: - Perform credit analysis and assist with the evaluation of creditworthiness - Assist with general accounting duties such as data entry, reconciliations, and journal entries - Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Assist with tax preparation and compliance activities - Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) - Utilize accounting software such as Quicken and Sage to manage financial data - Maintain accurate records of debits, credits, and other financial transactions - Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions - Collaborate with other team members to resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred - Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail - Knowledge of tax regulations and financial concepts - Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel) - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal We offer competitive compensation, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive work environment.
