Sibelco is Hiring a Manager Integrated Planning Near Spruce, NC

Position Summary

The Manager Integrated Planning will be responsible for maximizing overall performance of the value chain. Through close collaboration with Mine, Processing, and Asset Management, the integrated operations will provide a system-level decision making platform through system wide optimization, linking integrated planning with operations execution with a capability of providing dynamic scheduling for optimal recovery of any interruptions to plan.

This role is also accountable to provide strategic leadership to Spruce Pine’s business performance, develop and sustain the overall Spruce Pine Full Potential, Operations Excellence capabilities, Process Optimization, Energy Optimization and lead continuous improvement across the cluster value chain. This role is also accountable for defining the future opportunities for productivity growth.

Responsibilities

· Provide strategic leadership to Spruce Pine’s business performance, develop and sustain the overall Spruce Pine potential, operations excellence capabilities, process optimization, energy optimization, productivity and overall performance of operating assets across the cluster value chain.

· Review business cases, process designs, capacity plans and implementation schedules to ensure delivery of production objectives.

· Identify improvement opportunities and set up projects to implement the improvement.

· Lead plant improvement projects to drive efficiency and report on the progress of these projects

· Work closely with plant leadership and support services in pursuit of sustainable improvement of output and quality, and reduction of total cost of goods.

· Develop and implement production loss tracking system and process to provide analysis and accurate explanations of production variances to drive the right improvement programs.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience.

· Minimum 10 years of experience

· Experience in change management and transformation.

· Proficient in English. Other languages are an asset.
