At Sibcy Cline, our Building Services Coordinator provides maintenance assistance and repairs to RNS Properties and Sibcy Cline branch offices. This role assists with physical moves and installs during remodeling and new construction projects.
Essential Functions
- Monitors state of repair and maintenance of RNS properties and Sibcy Cline branch offices during regular visits and coordinates service contracts.
- Performs interior and exterior duties i.e., maintenance of parking lot and ground clean up, key maintenance, landscaping, carpentry, lighting, electric, etc.
- Handles tenant requests as needed.
- Assists with installation and removal of furniture, replacement of carpet, wallpaper, millwork, etc. for Sibcy Cline and RNS.
- Performs branch office check list at Sibcy Cline branches.
- Schedules subcontractor work, assists with repairs when able and verifies billings to reflect work performed.
- Delivers branch office supplies as necessary.
- Stocks company supply room, work room and lunchroom to fulfill branch orders and meet general needs.
Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- General maintenance knowledge and skills include lighting, plumbing, carpentry as examples.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Familiarity of blueprints.
- Experience fostering positive, solution-oriented customer relationships.
- High school diploma required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience working in maintenance, facilities or construction highly preferred.
Work Context
Building Services Coordinator travels to the Sibcy Cline branch offices and RNS properties on a daily basis. Work may involve walking in various weather conditions, standing for long periods of time, climbing ladders, etc. Additionally, this role must be able to lift/move items up to 100 lbs. MS Office Suite (especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and OneNote).
