SI Engineering, P.C. is Hiring an Electrical Construction Inspector Near New York, NY
SIE is looking for Electrical Construction Inspectors to support bridge, roadway, and highway infrastructure project in New York City.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring contractor’s work and ensuring it is as per the plans and specifications
- Oversee various electrical work including transformers, switchgear, panelboards, electrical substation, fiber optic communication infrastructure systems, high tension and other electrical work
- Preparing daily reports
- Assisting Office Engineer and Resident Engineer as needed
- Five years of bridge/highway construction inspection experience overseeing electrical work
- Experience working for public infrastructure projects in the New York City Metropolitan area including for MTA-TBTA, NYSDOT, NYCDOT, and PANYNJ
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
- OSHA 30
