SI Communities is Hiring a Make Ready Technician I Near Houston, TX
Overview:
Come join our Team! SI Communities is looking for a Porter/Make Ready Technician in the Sharpstown neighborhood in Southwest Houston. The Make Ready I Technician's primary responsibility is to ensure the upkeep of the community in order to enhance and maintain curb appeal.
The Community:
Rocksprings Apartments is a two-story, 256-unit Garden-style Community built in 1976 and will undergo exterior renovations in 2024, located at: 9000 Town Park Dr, Houston, TX 77036
The Company:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings.
- Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter daily.
- Assist in the preparation of market ready units, including removing trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
- Keep common areas including laundry room clean
- Assist in the troubleshoot/repair of mechanical, carpentry and electrical problems.
- Deliver communication documentation to residents.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor, Property Manager or Regional Manager. May be required to answer on-call pages.
- Must be able to work flexible schedule which may include working special events and/or weekends.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Skilled in the safe use and maintenance of various hand tools, user-moved aids and power tools.
- Knowledge with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures.
