Job Title: Home Care Aide
Job Summary:
The home care aide is responsible for providing personalized assistance and support to individuals in their homes, helping them with activities of daily living and ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Help with mobility, including transferring and positioning clients safely.
- Support with toileting and incontinence care as needed.
- Medication Reminders:
- Remind clients to take their medications as prescribed by their healthcare providers.
- Assist with medication management, including reading labels and organizing pillboxes.
- Meal Preparation and Feeding:
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist with feeding, if necessary, ensuring clients receive adequate nutrition.
- Light Housekeeping:
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and laundry.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the client.
- Companionship and Social Interaction:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Engage in conversation, activities, and hobbies to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
- Transportation and Errands:
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands.
- Provide transportation using personal or company vehicle as required.
- Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor clients for any changes in condition or behavior.
- Report any concerns or observations to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of services provided, including daily care notes and any changes in client status.

Pay: $13.00 - $26.00 per hour
