This role is cross functional and will work in any of our warehouse teams that deliver the day to day, including technical engineering, shipping and boxing, inventory, repair and front desk. This utility role will report to the D2D supervisor. They will move between departments based on overall warehouse need. An ability to assess the day-to-day workload, communicate with the D2D Supervisor about department needs, and seamlessly move between functional roles is the core of this job.
They will also attend bi-weekly meetings, including the Site Manager, D2D Supervisor and all other Utility Players, to do cross-training, and keep up to speed on any evolving process or changes in the warehouse. In these meetings, Utility Players will be asked to think strategically about the current day-to-day pain points and help to determine where their help is most needed, partake in productivity meetings, and work on side projects as needed.
The person in this role must be open to learning the hard and soft skills of each tier 1 function of the warehouse departments other than their department. This includes full technical skills in those areas as well as the soft skills required, like multi-tasking, excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, regular demonstration of all BL values, and others. These employees must display the ability to learn and retain new information on the fly.

• Demonstrated Tier 1 skill in all fulfillment departments, including photo technical engineering, shipping and boxing, inventory and front desk
• Demonstrated soft skills listed in all Tier 1 departments, including (but not limited to) Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and initiative
• A positive attitude and drive to succeed!
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equal work experience is required
