What Youll Do Here:

• Repair, trouble-shoot, assemble, test, modify, analyze, and maintain Lifetouch equipment such as camera equipment, computer systems, cables, sport systems, and lighting equipment as well as other miscellaneous equipment supported by Field Technical Services department.
• Provides trouble shooting over the phone with Lifetouch internal field customers of Lifetouch camera and computer systems.
• Helps write process sheets for repairs, and for each assembly or have any assembly notes necessary added to the blueprint.
• Recognizes any problem an Assembler or repair person may have during the assembly process and eliminate the problem using fixtures or whatever means necessary.
• Works with and makes suggestions to Leads/ Supervisors that may create higher quality more functional assemblies.
• Creates and maintains documentation for user support, troubleshooting and reference.
• Performs other projects or miscellaneous duties as requested or assigned.
• May travel to other Lifetouch facilities for equipment installation, repair or training (< 5% of the time)

The Skills Youll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED. Post-secondary education, preferred.
• IT function specialty certification (e.g., A , Network ), preferred.
• Minimum requirement is 2 years electronic schooling or equivalent.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including days, nights, holidays, and weekends, as needed, as well as a rotating on-call schedule.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Strong computer skills (e.g., navigation, data entry), including Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
• Good project management skills.
• Detail oriented in the execution and follow-up of work.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance and execute against multiple projects/priorities simultaneously.
• Takes initiative.
