Shultz Huber & Associates, Certified Public Accountants, is seeking a full time or part time Payroll Specialist to become a vital member of our team. As a Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for all functions related to processing client payroll as well as supporting accounting operations by filing documents, reconciling statements, data entry, and running software programs. To succeed in this important role, you should have payroll, have a good working knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks online, and be able to perform well in a fast-paced environment. This position is full-time but could be part-time for the right person. We are seeking someone who has 2 or more years of recent payroll experience, who is detail oriented and and can to perform in a fast-paced environment.

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for all functions related to processing client payroll. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This role will be responsible for the following activities, included but not limited to:

• Collect, compile and enter payroll data using appropriate software.
• Prepare and print payroll reports of earnings, hours worked, taxes, insurance, etc.
• Produce federal, state and local tax payments.
• Ability to build and maintain good rapport with clients, handling situations with tact and confidence.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
