Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate a warm and inviting atmosphere by professionally and courteously welcoming patients and visitors to the office.
  • Manage all facets of check-in procedures, encompassing scheduling, payment collection, and ensuring a seamless patient flow.
  • Patient check-out, including scheduling for follow up appointment.
  • Utilize professional and courteous telephone etiquette while promptly answering incoming calls.
  • Provide support for patient inquiries by monitoring the office email and ensuring timely responses.
  • Cross-train to proficiently handle all aspects of front desk administration, which includes but is not limited to check-out processes, appointment rescheduling, addressing patient queries, and conducting insurance verifications.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical Receptionist Certification considered a valuable asset, but not required.
  • Two or more years of relevant experience and/or training in Front Desk/Medical Reception.
  • Proficiency in handling a multi-line phone system.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and efficiently manage tasks, emphasizing a strong commitment to quality through meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace.
  • Prior experience with any Electronic Medical Records systems is advantageous.
  • Robust knowledge of clerical procedures.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
