The Maintenance / Print Technician plays a pivotal role in assisting with troubleshooting, general upkeep and equipment vetting of our digital print fleet. The role also assists our maintenance department with the troubleshooting of other production process equipment such as heat transfers, cutting and finishing equipment. Daily responsibilities include preventive maintenance and repairs of digital printers, along with troubleshooting other equipment that is relative to production process in efforts to achieve our on-time delivery goals.

What you will be responsible for:

• Ability to troubleshoot advanced issues related to digital print equipment
• Train print operators on preventative maintenance
• Ability to assist via remote avenues such as TeamViewer, Microsoft Teams, email, text and phone
• Work in conjunction with remote service techs in efforts to reduce downtime
• Maintain parts inventory room
• May require off hour support (via physically onsite, phone and/or internet)
• Assist maintenance staff with troubleshooting of other production equipment when time allows
• Encourage and facilitate the incorporation of Lean objectives in print and production control processes
• Works effectively with all other departments to meet deadlines, objectives and ship dates
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

What will you bring to the table (Skills/Experience Required):

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in troubleshooting and/or repair of electronic equipment and machines (preferably digital print equipment)
• Proven experience working with a variety of RIP platforms
• Strong organizational skills, independent thinking, and outstanding problem-solving skills
• High energy level required
• Strong interpersonal skills dealing with all levels of the organization and vendors
• Travel up to 20% (Domestic and International)

When performing the job in a production environment the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in a production environment and will frequently need to lift 20 to 30lbs.
