We are seeking a skilled and creative individual to join our team as a Design and Installation professional. In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative designs and overseeing the installation process for various audio visual projects. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to gather project requirements and translate them into design concepts.
- Create detailed designs and blueprints using CAD software or other design tools.
- Coordinate with suppliers to source materials and ensure timely delivery.
- Oversee the installation process, ensuring that all specifications and design elements are accurately implemented.
- Conduct site visits to assess feasibility and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineers and contractors, to ensure successful project completion.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any design or installation issues that may arise.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in design and installation techniques.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of design plans, materials, and project progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in design and installation, preferably in a similar industry.
- Proficient in using CAD software and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and suppliers.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Portfolio showcasing previous design projects is highly desirable.
