Overview:

Join our team as a full-time Short-Term Rental Maintenance Technician. This role is perfect for a self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys the freedom of a contract position. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of our short-term rental properties. From paint touch-ups to pool maintenance, your attention to detail will ensure our guests have a memorable stay.

Responsibilities:

Handyman Work:

• Conduct thorough inspections of rental units and address any maintenance issues promptly.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently to uphold our property standards.
• Handle minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs independently.

Painting and Cosmetic Repairs:

• Touch up paint on walls, doors, and baseboards to maintain a pristine interior.
• Perform minor drywall repairs and cosmetic enhancements as needed.

Doorknob Repairs:

• Repair or replace malfunctioning doorknobs, locks, and hinges for guest convenience and security.

Plumbing Maintenance:

• Address plumbing issues such as clogged toilets and drains promptly.
• Repair or replace faucets, showerheads, and other fixtures as necessary.

Dryer Vent Cleaning:

• Regularly clean dryer vents to prevent hazards and ensure optimal appliance performance.
• Light Landscape and Pool Maintenance:
• Maintain outdoor areas by trimming bushes, and removing debris. Occasionally laying mulch and planting new plants.

Pressure Washing:

• Utilize pressure washing equipment to clean exterior surfaces and maintain curb appeal.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Reliable transportation and own tools required.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
