Short Path Distillery is seeking a hardworking, ambitious Production Assistant to join our small team. The candidate must have an ability to multitask, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Previous warehouse, factory, distillery or brewery work is a plus but not required.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a working distillery with room for growth.

Short Path Distillery is a craft distillery specializing in Whiskey, Gin, Rum, and a variety of liqueurs. Founded by 3 friends in 2015, we combine old-world distilling techniques with a new-world, science-based approach to spirit development. We’re marrying the art of distilling with the science of taste — and creating unique spirits that represent the best of both worlds. We use locally sourced and organic ingredients wherever possible to reflect our commitment to our community and our customers, and we handcraft spirits in small batches to ensure consistency and character. Our spirits can be found throughout Massachusetts and at our cocktail bar and retail store in Everett.

Job Responsibilities

• Washing, bottling, and labeling bottled spirits
• Palletizing cases of spirits
• Warehousing
• Handling caustic chemicals
• Precise measuring
• Heavy lifting (must be able to lift 50 pounds)
• Barreling/de-barreling spirits
• Mashing grain
• Mixing molasses
• Handling flammable liquids
• Cleaning and organizing
• Maintaining equipment

• Lift 50 lbs regularly and fulfill physical requirements of the job

• Ability to learn and use distilling software
• Driver's license helpful (not required)
