Expert Staffing is HIRING Production/Sanitation Associates in Malden, MA area!

Schedule: M-F 7am – 3:30pm

Rate: $19-$20 /Hr

Job Duties:
Production Assistant Team Lead -

• Lead the startup and/or breakdown of the production area, lines, equipment, etc., as needed.
• Ensure that trash, debris, and/or soiled equipment and utensils are removed from the work area to the appropriate location(s), as needed
• Possess basic math, computer, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate (written and/or oral) effectively to a bilingual staff.
• Work with the Team Lead/Supervisor to manage and monitor all personnel within your line/area.
• In conjunction with the Team Lead/Supervisor address and handle any/all personnel situations that arise.
• Ensure that products are properly labeled at all times, as appropriate.
• Operation of internal production software system(s) and ability to read/follow recipes and instructions
• Hand decoration of dessert products according to specification
• Monitoring of critical functions, which may include metal detection, weight checks, labeling checks, temperature checks, and product evaluations
• Follow inventory standards with regard to using raw materials/packaging in the correct rotation, properly moving inventory in the production software, committing correct inventory amounts to work plans, and returning excess inventory at the end of each run

Sanitation Team Lead-

• Ensure plant cleanliness is maintained according to the master sanitation schedule.
• Schedule and assign duties to appropriate personnel in order to stay in compliance.
• Ensure all team members are properly trained and using cleaning chemicals to ensure they are used properly and within established limits.
• Manage and monitor all personnel within department on shift
• Address any/all personnel situations that arise. Appropriately identify when issues need to be escalated to HR.
• Oversee and demonstrate advance process knowledge with regard to:
• Break-down, cleaning, and re-assembly of production equipment
• Preventing overflow of items between shifts
• Mechanical cleaning equipment in use
• Chemical titration
• SSOP’s
• Inspections
• Shift check-list completion and verification
• Line set-up for production
• Staffing needs by task and area
• Schedule and implement Master Sanitation Schedule
• Complete Chemical Inventory on routine schedule
• Monitor use, condition, and assignment of PPE Materials for sanitation staff
• Train, mentor, and motivate team members in a manner that sustains high performance and minimizes turnover.
• Provide timely, thorough and thoughtful employee performance evaluations. Set goals and map out the direction for employees’ growth.
• Support management in other related duties, as required.

Requirements:

· Communicate successfully with a bilingual staff

· Regularly lift, move, and or/push up to 50 lbs

· 1-2 years of similar manufacturing experience

· Prior knowledge of bakery/dessert processing is a plus

· Required to stand, walk, and sit
