Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving deli items, and maintaining a clean and organized deli area. Responsibilities:

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Take customer orders and prepare deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items

- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and work surfaces

- Ensure food safety guidelines are followed at all times

- Assist with inventory management by restocking deli items as needed

- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing customer concerns

- Promote sales by suggesting additional items or specials

Experience:

- At least 12 months of Lotto retail experience, within the last 5 years, is required

- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required

- Familiarity with basic math skills for cash handling purposes

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is a plus

Skills:

- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members

- Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting

- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order preparation and cash handling
