Shoreline Foods is a small mom and pop that's been a downtown Pensacola staple since 1978. We are family owned and ran, and those are the values we hold near and dear. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Scan and bag items for customers
- Process returns and exchanges
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations
- Promote sales and upsell products to customers
- Conduct product demonstrations when necessary
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
Skills:
- Strong sales skills with the ability to meet sales targets
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone
- Experience in Lotto sales and payouts is a plus
- Proficient in operating a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Ability to demonstrate products effectively to customers
- Multilingual skills are an asset, especially if serving a diverse customer base
- Previous experience in retail and Lotto sales is preferred
- Upselling skills to encourage customers to purchase additional products
