Shore Physicians Group is seeking Advanced Practice Professionals to join our expanding team of Hospitalist Providers at Shore Medical Center, located in Somers Point, NJ. With Base Compensation, Production (wRVU) Bonus, Quality Bonus and Additional Shift Stipend, this position offers the opportunity to maximize your income as part of a strong, supportive team. The schedule of 7-days on / 7-days off, plus generous PTO, offers you flexibility and the opportunity to travel and enjoy our area beaches, nightlife, restaurants and entertainment on your weeks off.
Hospitalist Program Profile – Day Shift (7a-7p / 7 days on, 7 days off)
- Average 13-16 patients per day
- Opportunity to pick-up additional shifts

Job Summary:
- Responsible to provide direct patient care, independently rounding on patients
- Provide patient and family education, perform H&Ps, diagnose and treat patients within current scope of care, collaborate with and consult a multidisciplinary team
- Provide comprehensive discharge plan to facilitate proper transition of care
Requirements:
- Have, or ability to obtain, valid NJ State Board A.P.N. license, CDS and DEA
- Patient clinical management skills
- Excellent communication skills including active listening, verbal and written communication
- Experience and comfort working with physicians one-on-one and in small groups
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an acute care setting (RN experience acceptable), experience in a Hospitalist Program, Critical Care or Emergency Department preferred
