Shore Lodge Whitetail LLC is Hiring a Barista Near Call, ID

Description

Summary:

Our successful Shore Lodge, Whitetail Baristas exceed our customer’s expectations by seeking to provide memorable drink experiences for our guests. As a member of the Food and Beverage team, this position is responsible for creating an atmosphere that will inspire guests and associates to return. Proper implementation, promotion and success of our operations and continual evaluation of the products, services and training provided are paramount.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

  • Prepare and serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, teas and specialty drinks as well as menu items, such as sandwiches or salads.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils and equipment, clean service or seating areas.
  • Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators and heating equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Describe menu items to customers and suggest products that might appeal to them.
  • Order, receive and stock supplies and retail products.
  • Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blends or preparation descriptions.
  • Serve prepared foods, such as muffins, biscotti, or bagels.
  • Take customer orders and convey them to other employees for preparation.
  • Receive and process customer payments utilizing a POS system.
  • Weigh, grind and pack coffee beans for customers.
  • Wrap, label and date food items for sale.
  • Create signage to advertise store products or events.
  • Demonstrate the use of retail equipment, such as espresso machines.
  • Set up and restock product displays.
  • Slice fruits, vegetables, desserts, or meats for use in food service.
  • Take out garbage.

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Possess excellent customer service abilities
  • Able to use POS System
  • Able to lift minimum of 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to take direction and delegate responsibilities
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • The ability to functionally multi-task with speed and grace
