ShopLC Global Inc. is Hiring a Merchandising Assistant (FT) Near Austin, TX
We are an electronic retailer of jewelry and lifestyle products headquartered in Austin, Texas with a team force of approximately 550 people across different teams. Our products are sold through TV, our website, major OTAs, OTT, marketplaces, and social media.
- Coordinate with vendors on merchandise shipments purchased by the buyer.
- Audit and Assist Accounting Department with any payments that need to be made to vendors.
- Address any issues related to shipping with shipping companies.
- Create SKU numbers for new merchandise.
- Update invoice files.
- Update daily sales spreadsheet.
- Track all shipments coming into the office.
- Answer merchandise questions from Customer Service and Warehouse.
- Monitor and correct any description issues.
- Work with vendors on any merchandise issues.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned by the manager.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel (knowledge of pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
- Experience in retail environment.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Team-oriented person with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and follow through are essential.
- Ability to read and interpret invoices.
- Desire to learn about sales-driven industry and be able to work independently.
- Knowledge of international sourcing, with an emphasis on China, India, Africa, and South America.
- Ability to effectively utilize various software applications including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong professional and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding and ramps.
- Moving around to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.

- Frequently lift 20-50lbs and occasionally lifting 50 to 70 pounds.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
