We are an electronic retailer of jewelry and lifestyle products headquartered in Austin, Texas with a passionate team of approximately 550 people. Our products are sold through TV on 80m homes through our live 24*7 broadcasts, our website, OTT, marketplaces, and social media.
We are the US retailing unit and subsidiary of Vaibhav Global Limited (VGL) which is a well-established vertically integrated company, founded in India about 35 years ago and listed on the Indian stock exchanges. The company has had a turnover of $246 million (in the financial year 2022).
The other retailing units of VGL Group are in the UK (Shop TJC) and Germany (Shop LC, Germany). Together, all the units ship out approximately 50,000 pieces of products to their customers in the US, UK, and Germany every day. In addition to the companies in the US, UK, and Germany, VGL Group operates offices globally in India, China, Indonesia, and Thailand.

GROWTH DIRECTOR – ECOMMERCE & DIGITAL – ROLE OVERVIEW
As the Growth Director for Ecommerce and Digital, your responsibilities include analyzing, reviewing, and recommending strategies and tactics to drive business profitability by increasing visitors, improving conversion rates, capturing larger average order sizes, and managing margin performance.
Job Responsibilities
I. Individual Responsibilities
1. Ownership and management of - 
  • Ecommerce marketing including social media search, affiliates, and influencers.
  • SEO measurements and monitoring methodologies.
  • Customer Experience including Design & Aesthetics, Content, Navigation, Information Architecture, Branding/Digital Marketing. 
2. Direct and manage internal and external partners teams.
3. Provide expertise on current Ecommerce industry best practices. 
4. Advise cross-functional teams (e.g. Logistics, Services, Merchandising etc.) to ensure Ecommerce principles are incorporated.
5. Identify new areas of ecommerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking.
6. Comply with company policies and procedures.
II. Managerial Responsibilities
  • Delivery of timely one to one’s (1 to 1’s) and preparing and delivering mid-year and year-end performance evaluations.
  • Promote professional and personal development of individual team members by utilizing computerized and other systems for tracking service, quality, setting productivity goals, training and coaching interventions and career opportunity programs, and for researching information and troubleshooting.
  • Take proactive steps to manage employees’ attendance in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure all team members have access to, understand and are kept current on company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate changes in staffing schedules and overtime requirements, if applicable, in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Provide ongoing management and coaching.
Skills/Experience
  • Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting test results & drawing conclusions
  • Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
  • Must be a seasoned professional in the digital retailing market, with strong D2C experience.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of ecommerce technologies and tactics.
  • Must have understanding with the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions to implement new ecommerce strategies.
  • Must have proven success in developing and rapidly growing digital D2C brands.
