Shirk & O'Donovan Consulting Engineers, Inc. is Hiring an Office Manager Near Worthington, OH

We are looking for an outgoing, organized, and proactive Office Manager to join our team. This position offers flexible hours starting at a minimum of 30 hours.

This position is an administrative position for a structural engineering firm that provides consulting services for its clients in the design and construction industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office.
  • Manage the front desk area, greeting visitors, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable / Monthly Invoicing /Timesheet Management
  • Manage phone systems, including answering calls, taking messages, and directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
  • Maintain and organize files, both physical and electronic, ensuring accuracy.
  • Manage State Licensing and Professional Engineering Registration.
  • Coordinate and manage company calendar to include travel, staff meetings and continuing education registration and tracking.
  • Manage office inventory and some light housekeeping.

Experience:

  • Positive attitude, attention to detail; flexible and adaptable to ever-changing priorities.
  • Prior administrative experience in a professional work environment.
  • Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
