Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor

Our client, a prominent player in the print manufacturing industry, providing leading service and quality, is looking for a Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor to join their team.

The Logistics Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing the warehouse personnel to pull orders, receive and verify jobs released to be staged, oversee booking of loads on all current carrier portals, distribution of goods, ensuring efficient internal and external customer service, and overseeing all shipping processes. This position reports directly to the Logistics Manager.

Focus:

• Supervise and manage all aspects of shipping, receiving, and distribution activities.
• Collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to guarantee the prompt delivery of goods.
• Develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency, customer service, and cost savings.
• Supervise the Logistics team and organize their work schedules.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust ordering and storage accordingly.
• Monitor order completion and address any discrepancies.

Skill Set:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Possess a minimum of five years' experience in a leadership role in Logistics or a comparable sector.
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and distribution processes and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment.
