Role overview
The mission of our Platform Operations & Delivery (POD) team is to build a world class marketplace where shifts from employers meet workers seeking opportunities. We measure success based on our fill rate of available shifts, worker quality and performance, and unit economics.
In this role you will own a market or series of markets within our marketplace, and wake up every day wanting to increase filled shifts. You will be a role model for daily operational rigor and excellence, using existing and new creative tactics to acquire and activate more workers and/or assign incremental shifts to existing workers.
What you'll do:
- Lead daily operations for a market or series of markets in order to ensure 100% shift fill rate while maintaining related quality, performance, and unit economics goals
- Manage a team of hourly agents responsible for delivering shift assignment and completion goals
- Use a suite of tactics to increase both worker supply and shifts completed by existing workers (e.g. resolving support issues, adjusting shift times, coordinating local transportation)
- Communicate with workers directly using multiple channels including email, SMS, and phone
- Monitor daily and weekly metrics, proactively identify opportunities and issues, and design and execute initiatives to increase fill rate, improve quality or performance, or advance unit economics
- Use tools like Google Sheets, Tableau, and whatever else you will need to assess market performance and inform decisions
Who you are
