Shield Healthcare is Hiring an Utilization Management Team Lead Near Valencia, CA
Shield HealthCare is looking for a Utilization Management, Team Lead for our Valencia, CA corporate office. The primary function of this position Assist Supervisor in managing daily task and department workflow.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in various processes throughout the department
- Communicate trends with health plans to Supervisors
- Assist with gathering daily stats as needed
- Troubleshooting issues with accounts
- Delegating tasks and making adjustments in order to meet EOM Metrics
- First line of support for UM Rep questions
- Respond to questions from various departments related to documentation
- Problem identification and resolution of issues as presented by staff
- Assists with training of new personnel on all aspects of job responsibilities.
- Miscellaneous project as assigned by management
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior Lead experience preferred
- Strong aptitude for reporting
- Analytical thinker and ability to problem solve
- Leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills
- Work independently with the ability to make appropriate decisions
- Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- $17.00-19.00 per hour team lead differential
