Sheridan's Home & Patio is a patio furniture retailer established in 2018. We have 5 store locations across the West with our distribution center located in Ogden, UT. We are a professional, fast-paced, customer-focused company with years of success and growth in the patio furniture retail business.
Sheridan's Home & Patio is looking for a driven warehouse manager to add to our team. We are looking for a hard working, well organized individual to handle the day to day management of our new warehouse facility in Ogden, UT.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Utilize transportation management systems to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
- Implement warehouse management strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts
- Ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery of products to customers
- Procure necessary materials and supplies for the warehouse
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and manage budgets for warehouse operations
- Collaborate with other departments to improve overall supply chain efficiency
- Plan and coordinate transportation activities, including route planning and carrier selection
- Manage fleet of vehicles, ensuring proper maintenance and compliance with regulations
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase productivity
- Collaborate with production planning teams to ensure adequate inventory levels
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to effectively motivate team members
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and best practices
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
- Proficient in budgeting and financial analysis related to warehouse operations
- Knowledge of transportation planning principles and practices
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, external suppliers, and customers

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
