Wurzak Hotel Group is looking for an energetic & experienced Senior Sales Manager to support the Sales efforts of our Marriott award winning recently renovated Sheraton Hotel in Reston, VA. The Senior Sales Manager will play a critical role in developing and implementing sales strategies, cultivating key client relationships, and supporting our sales team to achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in driving sales, managing a high-performing team, and exceeding revenue targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and company objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and strong analytical abilities.
  • Experience with Marriott is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
