General Summary:

• Under general direction and utilizing independent judgment, manages the day-to-day cash position of the Sheppard Pratt Foundation and its corporations. 
• Is responsible for maintaining multiple treasury functions for the system including daily cash control records, and, if applicable, batching of system cash receipts,. 
• Monitors, analyzes and makes appropriate adjustments for the cash needs of multi-corporate entities. 
• Initiates the transfer of inter-corporate funds. . 
• Reconciles large and complex corporate bank statements. 
• Balances records to the general ledger; prepares various spreadsheets, reports, and journal entries.
• Prepares cash monitoring reports for management.
• Assists as banking administrator. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

1. Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Ability to apply accounting procedures, proficiency with spreadsheet software packages, and knowledge of financial operations sufficient to maintain records, make decisions, and prepare reports - acquired through three to five years of related treasury work.
