We are seeking an Assistant Home Construction Superintendent to join our team. The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Construction Superintendent to ensure that residential construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage subcontractors and other construction team members.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Construction Superintendent in overseeing all aspects of residential construction projects from pre-construction to completion.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, inspectors, suppliers, and other construction team members to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating the delivery of materials and equipment to job sites.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating warranty request.
• Assist in reviewing construction plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Manage and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress , and change orders.
• Assist in resolving construction-related issues, conflicts, and disputes that may arise during the course of a project.
• Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Assist in conducting regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure workmanship meets company standards.
• Assist in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in coordinating and conducting homeowner orientations and walkthroughs at project completion.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address homeowner concerns and warranty requests in a timely manner.
• Qualifications:
• 1 years of experience in residential construction or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction techniques, building codes, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
