WHERE YOU FIT IN
We are looking for a highly motivated university student with a genuine interest in energy, business, technology, and a passion to join us for a summer internship project. The
Reporting to the Sr. Customer Support Manager, the role requires a self-motivated, dedicated, and responsible individual with the ability to perform well under pressure. An internship in Broker Relations and Sales Support offers invaluable hands-on experience in learning retail power and building and maintaining relationships with clients, which is crucial for any business. Through this internship, you'll gain skills in communication, problem-solving, and negotiation, essential for resolving client issues and ensuring satisfaction. Additionally, you'll learn how to leverage client feedback to improve products or services, ultimately contributing to the company's growth and success. This experience will not only enhance your resume but also provide a strong foundation for a career in various industries such as sales, marketing, or customer success.
This intern will be developing an online shopping catalog and assisting with Broker Relations management. In addition, this intern will be focusing on creating value add tools, reporting, and training supporting Sales and Customer Success needs.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Learning Basic PowerPoint and Creating an End-of-Summer Overview:

• The intern will acquire fundamental skills in using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• They will create an end-of-summer overview that highlights the project they worked on and the skills they developed during the internship.

2. Compliance and Safety Responsibilities:

• The intern is responsible for adhering to all training, safety, and compliance requirements.
• They must follow established protocols to ensure a safe and secure work environment.

3. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:

• The intern will develop problem-solving abilities.
• They will apply analytical thinking to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.

4. Marketing and Event Management

• Intern will assist in creating and managing online shopping catalogs, planning events, ordering merchandise, and managing contracts.

5. Effective Communication of Findings:

• The intern will communicate key findings to various stakeholders.
• They will present data-driven insights in a clear and compelling manner, facilitating informed decision-making or storytelling.

6. Training and Development:

• The intern will aggregate data from diverse sources to create effective and scalable training tools.

7. Other Duties as Assigned:

• The intern may be assigned additional tasks or projects as needed throughout the internship.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Must be a current Sophomore, Junior, or graduating senior student at an accredited university.
• Study disciplines in project management, energy, finance, or business preferred.
• Analytical mindset, demonstrate ability to problem solve and create practical solutions to overcome problems and mitigate risks.
• Comfortable working in a target-driven and fast-changing environment, and able to respond to changing business needs
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook, and strong Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, organization and time management skills, with the ability to maintain a strict level of attention to detail
• Demonstrates a vested interest in team goals and objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships.
• Self-motivated with the desire to consistently improve performance and gain further knowledge.
• Ability to meet deadlines, learn quickly, and demonstrate effective problem solving and follow-up skills.
