This position is for the 2024-2025 school year.
Position Purpose:
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to develop student's knowledge, skills, and abilities in comprehending, speaking, reading, and writing a language other than English, and to develop an understanding and appreciation of the native culture of the countries where the language is the primary means of communication.
Essential Functions

Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.

Equipment
Uses standard office equipment such as personal computers, printer, copy and fax machines, and telephone.
Travel Requirements
Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.

Qualifications Profile:
Texas certified Secondary Spanish teacher or in an Alternative Certification Program and eligible to be hired after passing the L.O.T.E. Spanish EC-12 exam. College graduates with a major in Spanish who are enrolled in an ACP are also welcome to apply.
