The Sheboygan County Fair is a non-profit association founded in 1851 to promote the quality of life by means of entertainment and education in the interest of youth development, family, farming and commercial progress. The Sheboygan County Fair is also the home of Plymouth Dirt Track Racing (PDTR).
Responsibilities
Must be punctual and dependable
Time management, communication skills, and team collaboration skills
Assist with Event Planning and Execution: Ability to successfully plan, organize, and execute events
Assist with Administrative Tasks for Plymouth Dirt Track Racing and Sheboygan County Fair
Assist with Marketing Efforts for Plymouth Dirt Track Racing and Sheboygan County Fair
Technology Proficiency: Demonstrate adaptiveness in using a range of technology platforms such as Microsoft, Facebook, Instagram, QuickBooks desktop, and some other business software
Creativity and Innovation: Bring creative and fresh ideas to enhance events. Staying up-to-date on community needs and industry trends. This may include budget creation and presentation to the board for approval of a new event.
Problem resolution: ability to quickly identify and address issues during events
Ability to positively impact each event by providing support and guidance to volunteers, event goers, guests of the grounds, and other employees of the Sheb Co Fair. Contribute to the development of a strong community presence by actively hosting Sheb Co Fair events.
Assist in researching grant & sponsorship opportunities that are in alignment with Sheb Co Fair’s Mission.
Community Engagement and Representation: contribute to the development of a strong community presence by attending community events, forums, and gatherings to represent Sheboygan County Fair. Cultivate a positive relationship with local stakeholders, community members, and potential partners.
Availability
This position reports to the fair Manager. The Manager reports to the Elected Board.

Starting Part Time Hours would be discussed upon hire. Office hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 3pm.
Weekend availability strongly encouraged during peak months (April - September)
Required availability 2 days prior through 1 day post the Sheboygan County Fairs annual Fair
