Are you interested in protecting and securing others?
We are looking for a highly motivated and reliable Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safety and security of She's Happy Hair store locations and its patrons. You will utilize the latest security technologies, systems, and processes to maintain a safe and secure environment and act as a deterrent to shoplifting and other criminal activities, as well as, secure both in-store and curbside areas for She's Happy Hair customers.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security cameras and other store surveillance equipment
- Conduct investigations and document incidents using appropriate paperwork
- Deter or report shoplifters and other offenders and ensure appropriate action is taken
- Provide excellent customer service to both employees and customers
- Maintain a visual presence in the store to ensure safety and security
- Participate in virtual meetings with management and other security personnel
- Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement
- Understand and remain up-to-date on loss prevention policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of store security systems and processes
- Ability to think and act quickly in potentially dangerous situations
- Proven ability to think outside the box and solve problems
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to work flexible hours and some weekends
