Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and trained Armed Security Officer to join our team. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. Your primary duty will be to deter criminal activity and respond to any security incidents that may arise. This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide armed security services to clients in various settings, including commercial properties, residential areas, and events
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the safety of individuals and property
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity or security breaches
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fires, or criminal incidents
- Enforce property rules and regulations, as well as applicable laws and ordinances
- Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents and prepare detailed reports
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and incidents
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, or military service is highly desirable
- Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
- Ability to effectively use surveillance techniques to identify potential threats or risks
- Possess a valid armed security officer certificate/license
