Behavior Technicians at Shape to Success will provide quality clinic based, in-home and community based 1:1 applied behavior analytic (ABA) services to children and young adults diagnosed with Autism and developmental disabilities. Services are provided under the supervision of a Board-Certified BehaviorAnalyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities:

 Work directly with the client to implement skill acquisition programs and behavior reduction programs based on the principles and procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis

 Communicate and collaborate with supervising BCBA

 Demonstrate the use of positive reinforcement while working with clients.

 Utilize behavioral health software to collect data on programs and target behaviors.

 Write comprehensive clinical session notes.

 Maintain an organized and clean workspace.

 Attend required paid trainings and professional development workshops.

Qualifications:

 Must be available for a minimum of two hours during our afternoon block between the hours of 2:30 and 6:30

 Must be willing to work within a 20 minute radius of our Spotswood or Tinton Falls Centers for in home therapy or work within one of our Centers.

 Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (in Education, Psychology or related field preferred) or high diploma with completion of RBT certification.

 Have previous experience working with children (preferred).

 Be able to play and engage with children.

 Completion of required paid trainings including Crisis training, CPR/First Aide

 Completion of company offered Registered Behavior Technician Coursework and certification.

 Strong written and spoken interpersonal and communication skills.

 Receptive to feedback and willingness to learn about Applied Behavior Analysis.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
