Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting behavioral assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and providing direct supervision to behavior technicians. Your expertise will play a crucial role in improving the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Duties:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment results
- Provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians, ensuring the implementation of effective interventions
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatment across settings
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess for autism spectrum disorder and other related conditions
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral health
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field required; master's degree preferred
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder preferred
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Proficient in data collection and analysis methods
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
