Shannondale Assisted Living Center is seeking Resident Assistants. This is an excellent opportunity for caring individuals who want to grow in their career.
The successful candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent and be CPR certified or have the ability to become CPR certified.
The Resident Assistant assists professional staff in the care of our assisted living residents including:
· Administering baths
· Giving routine and special mouth care
· Grooming hair and nails
· Assisting residents with toileting needs
· Making beds
· Answering calls from residents
· Assists with admission, discharge and transfer of residents
· Charts on appropriate forms
· Maintaining residents’ rooms in a neat and tidy manner
· Taking and recording vital signs
· Promotes good relationships by working with the health team to ensure maximum physical and emotional stability for residents through the use of supportive and restorative care
