Position Overview

Essential Functions :

• Assist in the execution of Agency Insurance Sales and Marketing Business Plan
• Identify and develop current and future insurance sales opportunities and strategies.
• Establish, build, and expand relationships for insurance sales business development

Additional Responsibilities :

• Proactively follow-up on insurance sales business issues and related activities and opportunities.
• Prospect for new insurance sales client and business relationships (networking, telephone and face-to-face calls)

Requirements

• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals / quotas preferred
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Self-motivated
• Detail oriented
• Proactive in problem solving
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to effectively relate to a customer
• Property and Casualty license (must be willing to attain)
• Life and Health license (must be willing to attach)
