o Review customer waste profiles

o Perform waste management decisions in compliance with permits and various regulatory requirements

o Provide technical support

o Collect and analyze samples

o Perform chemical inventories

o Consult with Shamrock management regarding new projects and bids for new projects, as needed.

o Various other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

valid driver's license , CDL preferred

Degree in Chemistry

3 yrs lab experience, waste approvals

USDOL Strength Criteria: Medium (CRT Body Index Score 171-201)

Physical Requirements: Ability to infrequently wear a tight fitting, negative-pressure respirator and occlusive chemical protective clothing. Position requires working on uneven work surfaces frequent and extensive walking with infrequent pushing/pulling/carrying of equipment/tools of varying and often awkward sizes, shapes and weights including bending, lifting, pushing and pulling. May occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and frequently lift 22-30 pounds. Climbs ladders, stairs, etc. at moderate frequency. May occasionally use hand manual and power hand tools hand shovel. Periodic to frequent exposure to hazardous chemicals with designated personal protective equipment. Exposure to elements including heat and cold stress and nuisance dust conditions and woodland, streamside and swampland flora and fauna. May work up to 12 hours per day, five to six days per week.

Required PPE: USEPA Level C or D: Dust mask, tight-fitting, air-purifying or supplied air respirator, hard hat, safety glasses with side-shields, steel-toe safety shoes/chemical protective footwear, ear plugs, leather and chemical work gloves, chemical protective clothing, and other as required by specific task.
