Job Description:
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and cleanliness standards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and appliances.
- Address tenant maintenance requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.
- Help with landscaping and outdoor/indoor maintenance needs.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls outside of regular working hours as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
- Communicate effectively with property managers, tenants, and colleagues to coordinate maintenance activities and address concerns.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in maintenance-related fields preferred.
- Proven experience in property maintenance, including knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to property maintenance.
- Drug/Alcohol testing will be conducted throughout employment.
