We are a leading men's and young men's apparel manufacturer located in Seattle for more than 40 years. We have an immediate need for a Production Assistant in men's casual & uniform division.

We're looking for someone with demonstrated proficiency with spreadsheets, and is content to spend much time updating and manipulating those spreadsheets. Exceptional organization and being detail-oriented are primary requirements, with a goal of 100% accuracy.

The primary purpose of the Production Assistant is to assist the Production Department in tracking and follow-up for the production delivery of all product.

Duties and responsibilities include, but aren't limited to, the following:

- Make sure orders are placed and on schedule with factories overseas

- Manage delivery of goods for product category and ensuring on time delivery by working with factories and logistics services

- Communicate sample needs for department with factories and track to ensure samples are received by deadline dates

- Communicate via phone and e-mail with acute detail, ensuring full understanding by all parties

- Confirm ex-factory dates

- Update the Production file with current information so it remains the most up-to-date resource

- Responsible for on-time delivery for product category and the management of all aspects of system accuracy.

- Acts as liaison between production and final customer

- Provide support to Product Manager

- Additional tasks as needed

Requirements:

- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)

- Detail oriented

- Sense of urgency

- Ability to work independently (with guidance), as well as in team environment

- Ability to multitask

- Ability to prioritize

- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams), creating spreadsheets and manipulating data

- College degree in apparel-related study, or equivalent work experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.19 - $21.16 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
