As a Production Worker at Minuteman Press North Seattle, you will be integrally involved in every stage of the printing process; from the initial setup of print jobs to the final stages of production and finishing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation: Ready materials and setup equipment for printing. This includes calibrating color, changing toner, loading paper, and adjusting settings for optimal print quality.
  • Operation: Efficiently operate various types of printing presses and finishing equipment. Monitor outputs and make adjustments to ensure the highest quality end result.
  • Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on machines to ensure they are functioning properly. This involves cleaning, lubricating parts, and making minor repairs.
  • Quality Control: Conduct checks to ensure that all printed materials meet our quality standards. Identify any discrepancies or defects and take corrective action as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and troubleshoot any operational issues that arise during the print process. Use your learned skills to find effective solutions quickly.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to coordinate efforts and ensure that timelines are met. Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Cleaning: Keeping production area clean & in good condition.
