We are looking for a dynamic and experienced bookkeeper to join our team! Our facility prides itself in being a dedicated and trusted partner in our community. Many of our employees have been with our facility for years. Two have recently celebrated 45-year anniversaries with us! Duties include:

• Accounts receivable - billing various payers and following up on claims
• Maintaining accurate and complete records for resident accounts
• Filing and maintaining orderly, confidential files
• Verifying insurance benefits with a variety of payers
• Answering phones in a professional manner
• Meet with families, residents, and potential clients to discuss payment details
• The bookkeeper must have a working knowledge of basic accounting functions and general office procedures.
• This position requires an aptitude for details, “numbers” and accounting
• Working well with other members of the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
• Proficiency in using accounting software
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals
