Job Summary

Assist in receiving-related processes and help receiving team members accomplish tasks that will optimize flow and insure efficiency and accuracy

Job Requirements/Expectations:

• Be the example to all shipping team members
• Direct shipping team members as needed to maintain efficient flow
• Train new hires, provide supplemental training to seasoned team members, and actively report on progress as directed by shipping manager
• Promptly communicate all potential service failures to shipping manager or shift supervisor
• Anticipate and communicate all employee grievances to shipping manager or shift supervisor
• Work with management to implement solutions and improvements to ensure quality, safety, and operating efficiency
• Direct team in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
• Process daily inventory updates
• Provide daily department status reports
• Assist in frontline job functions as needed to maintain efficient workflow
